Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

1. Sizing & Fit

We recommend measuring your child's foot length in centimeters while they are standing upright. Add a growing allowance of 1.0 – 1.5 cm to the measured length and compare it with our size chart on the respective product page.

bisgaard offers a variety of fits, including Narrow, Normal, and Wide. You can easily filter products by fit on our store. Most of our high-top boots and sneakers feature adjustable Velcro straps or laces to allow a customized fit for various foot shapes.

2. Materials & Sustainability

Yes, bisgaard shoes are crafted from 100% natural, breathable leather with soft lambskin or leather linings. We prioritize vegetable-tanned leather free from harmful chemicals, chrome, and heavy metals, ensuring it is gentle and safe for delicate young skin.

Absolutely. Our rainboots are made from 100% natural rubber, which is highly flexible, durable, and completely free from PVC, phthalates, and other harmful substances.

Yes! We offer Free Shipping on orders over €80 within Europe. For international destinations, shipping costs and free delivery thresholds are automatically calculated during checkout.

4. Returns & Care Instructions

We offer a 30-day hassle-free return window. Returned items must be unworn, in their original condition, and packed in the original shoe box with all tags intact.

  • Leather Shoes: Wipe clean with a damp cloth and regularly apply natural beeswax or a mild leather conditioner to preserve flexibility and moisture resistance.

  • Natural Rubber Boots: Rinse with clean water and let dry naturally at room temperature. Avoid placing them near direct heat sources or in intense sunlight, as this can cause natural rubber to dry out and crack.
